Working with Interserve to Deliver ICT for Dfe

In 2014 vietec partnered with Interserve Construction as their preferred service provider to deliver ICT into DfE Schools for the West Midlands.

vietec is currently working with Interserve to deliver ICT for the new and refurbished areas of the Colmers School & Sixth Form College campus.

vietec has been involved since the project’s inception and delivered full contract design proposals, matching the requirements of the operations specification provided by the DfE. This includes 420 CAT6A cables within the new teaching block, and new fibre backbones to connect the existing campus buildings and adding a new wireless network using Aruba 802.11ac Wave2 APs and Aruba edge to core switching, and the project also included the migration of the telephone system with 135 handsets.
