He did it! Phil very bravely took to the skies on Tuesday this week and completed his wing-walk challenge for vietec Ltd charity of the year, The Primrose Hospice.
Phil said “Wow what an experience. A flying roller coaster, initially a lot scarier but then just an adrenaline rush. Traveling at speeds in excess of 120mph in mid-air and then turning and swooping from high altitude. It was brilliant! Thanks to all that have donated to help us get a step closer to our targets.”
vietec are supporting The Primrose Hospice as Charity of the Year 2019 and have a set a £10k Target for the year to raise for the charity.
We aim to reach this by holding a number of events during this time. As part of the fundraising efforts, the vietec team had convinced and signed up Director Phil Drew to experience the thrill of a wing-walk ride from the private aerodrome in Cirencester, Gloucestershire on the 17th September.
Phil accepted and completed this challenge with a fear of heights, so, our sponsorship page is open until the 30th September if you wish to make a donation to the primrose Hospice on behalf of Phil for completing this amazing achievement.
Sara, vietec’s internal sales will be running the Primrose Hospice 5k Santa fun run on the 1st December to help raise additional donations towards the annual £10k target vietec have set to achieve for Primrose.
